This number says they are Qantas and that all my qantas points - 12,000 + are about to expire. They also sent me a link inviting me to use them up. The link appears false.
This is very realistic with perfect grammar. I was almost fooled.
I received a text message "LAST CHANCE this week! Your 18,621 Points will expire on 17/04." it then continues on , it looks to be "associated" with QANTAS but directs you to a maketplace link. I blocked and deleted it.
Received a text message from this number, supposed to be a message from myGov informing me that my account was going to be closed if I didn't hit on the link. I didn't.
SMS claimed I would be permanently locked out of MyGov if I didn't click on the link provided to verify. This seemed very dodgy - the number seems to have come from outside Australia
Garbage scam. • +91 is India. • I have no Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
Edited received SMS:
Qantas Frequent Flyer: Your Rewards Points Are Expiring Soon A quick reminder — 12,805 Rewards Points in your Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards account will expire on 10 Apr 2026. Part of the URL provided: https:// qantas. rewardsoun. top/au Thank you for being a valued Qantas Frequent Flyer.
SMS text pretending to be Illinois Department of Transportation saying I owe money for an outstanding traffic ticket. There is a link included where I can pay. I did not click the link. https://idot.illinois-govmq.icu/us The “govmq” gives it away as a site that steals money. Beware!
